The Secret Laboratory is a secret place in Neopia (of course) which has the power to change your pets species, gender, level, stats, as well as color. It can’t be accessed by the normal person, and it can only be accessed if you acquire all of the 9 pieces necessary to complete the map.

There are other variations of the map like the pirate, spooky, and even a petpet one. For the others, the same applies; find the 9 pieces to find the location. The only exception is the Petpet Laboratory which can only be accessed only if you have unlocked The Secret Laboratory first.

The 3rd, 4th, 7th, and 9th pieces can be bought in the shops for around 50-100k in the shops, but the other 5 pieces 1, 2, 5,6, and 8 are considered very rare and can usually be found found in auctions or the Trading Posts. If you’re not in the mood to search EVERY shop for the one piece you need, you can most likely find the whole set on the Trading Post for around 850k.
