Hi everyone,
Does anybody know how the rainbow fountain works? Whenever I go there it says all the magic is used up, and to come back another time. But it’s always the same! I know I’m supposed to be answering all your questions, but I do have this one question. Try it out for yourself: click here to go to the rainbow fountain.

I am not sure about this, but this is what I heard. In order for the rainbow fountain to work you have to do a quest or favor for the fairie. If you complete her favor, she may grant you with access to the rainbow fountain. But getting a quest from is her is very very extremely RARE!!!
it work for me once when i first started
It always says that the only way to actually get your pet painted there is to randomly receive a quest from her which is super rare. The best chance you have is on faerie day (or whatever it’s called) just hang around playing the games in faerieland and visiting the shops maybe try and get a job or two. Someone told me about it a year or so ago and it worked for me.

PEOPLE DONT THINK IT DOEST WORK CAS ONCE I GOT ASKED TO DO A FARIE QUEST 4 HER AND IT COST ME 40000 AND THEN SHE SAID COME VISTIE ME SO I DID AND I GOT TO CHOOSE WHAT TO PAINT ONE OF MY PETS (I CHOSE BABY)
I got a faeire quest from her and after i did it i got to choose a colour! clapping hands!
i think you have to finish one of her faires quest and you can use it…..
u have to get a quest from the rainbow fairie, or the queen fairie and its out of 1/50 they might give u a rainbow fairie thing in rreturn, or something else. its very very rare.

ALTADOR MYSTERY PLEASE HELP
does anyone know anything about altador? i went to the hall of heros clicked on the janitor then pressed a button.the janitor said the button didnt do anything. i then went to the archives which mentioned the button saying there was a book that could help. i clicked on the book at hte bottom of the table and it says if it had something to replace book to hold up table .it gives no clues as to what . i have been back to the page several times but nothing happens. i have bought books to replace it i am very confused please help to get to altador go to faerie city and click on what looks like a window/bubble on the building
it never works since you have to get a water farie quest. so good luck

You have to do one of her quests. Her quests come up like any other faerie’s quests: randomly. So just sit back and maybe if you are lucky, getone, finish it, get a little ticket to the fountain, and you’ll be able to create a painted pet or paint one of your pets. XD Crazy.
the thing is if you get a quest you can only paint your pets once.
i had a water fearie quest, but i gave it up she wanted me to get her a book now I am so mad!!
It’s not used up, in fact, I was just playing games on Fyora Day, and I got a Fountain Faerie quest!

Hey, I used the rainbow fountain before, you have to get a random quest from the rainbow fountain faerie, complete the quest and go to the rainbow fountain and get to paint your active pet any colour you want ( except royal). I used the rainbow fountain to paint my shoyru into plushie!!! My username is vi2004neo! Check for yourself!

you cant cuase you need the neopet one to use it the neopet one costs about 500k

You need to do a fountain farie quest. you look for a random item (random like anything, sometimes even pile of dung!) then you go to the fountain and she’ll paint your pet any color. i’m 12 so you cant neomail either when its october7 2006 or 2007. im sonpham
You have to do one of her quests, then she’ll paint your pet. If you don’t, the magic will always be gone fer you xD

U just get 2 use it on your active pet but you can go and change your active pet and come back.
NOTE: The rainbow fountain only works ONCE. To paint your pets again you have to get another quest from her

So wait, when you get a quest is it from the “Fountain Faerie” or the “Water Faerie”?
It is only open at certian times and is only open for exactly sixty seconds.. You could do a fairy quest and she could grant you a open visit for whenever you decide… But it is very rare for that to happen
was watching a pet for a friend and they are a water fountain quest to do and when i gave them the item i told me to take there pet to the fountain and could have anything she wanted on any of her pets. She took a pirate uni

You have to have a paintbrush and then when you click on it in your items it has the rainbow fountain in blue. If you click on that it should work.
I have no idea. But i heard you have to do a quest. You can probaly get a quest on faeriedoy or floyaday.
you can go to the rainbow fountain after you complete one the the fountain faeries quest’s then you will be able to paint your pet any color you want without a paintbrush. But to get a quest it is completly RANDOM!!

It only works when u are a good neopian like donating to da money tree going on everyday making sure ur pets are fed and stuff thats how i got in!
you must finish a quest for the foutain faerie. these quest are very rare and cost a good bit. but its all worth it because once you’ve finished the quest she’ll tell you to come visit her, and when you do, she lets you paint your pet any color you want!!!

I got a quest from her. Even if the item she asks you for is really expensive you should still buy it, it is really rare that she asks you. If you do her quest the magic at the fountain works and if you bring her her item you will get to paint your pet almost any color.
hey the fontain fairy u need to have her *Very* *Very* random quest and if u conplete in u get to use her fontain it changes the pets species first then the second time u use it it paints ur pet
i know how to get in the shop wizard when on a quest..first of all…you must have the shop wizard on your favorites so when you click on it..it justs takes to to it. first bring up the shop wizard then minimize it…then bring up the pet central neopets or whatever. then when you get a quest on the 2nd site you brought up-the petcentral thing, you minimize the 2nd site and go to the shop wizard thing you brought up. it lets you do that because the shop wiz site it fully functional because it hasn’t refreshed on that part because you brought up 2 sites instead of 1 like normal people usually do.

When you finish the fountain faerie’s quest, and she offers the different colors to you, can you paint more than one pet??

I did a Water faerie quest and I still can’t use the Rainbow fountain
It’s very rare, but the only way you can use the magic from the Fountain Faerie (her magic is used to paint your pet pretty much any colour), is if she gives you a quest. Her quests usually cost a lot more than any other Faerie Quest, however, so sometimes it’ll take a while to earn the item the Foutain Faerie sent you for.
And no, you cannot access the Fountain until you recieve and finish a quest from the FOUNTAIN FAERIE. Any other Faerie won’t work.

You buy them from other users, unless you get a random event at the Shrine.
You can search for dubloons at the Shop Wizard, the Trading Post, and/or the Auctions.
U half to do a quest for her. its random.

It is a random event. If you get a quest from the fountain faerie, and complete it, you can use the fountain
Whel I have the same problem it also somethimes sais: fountin doens’t work at the moment but I do know from some people that the rainbow fountin is a place where you get a fairy quest! It’s always dificoult to find the stuff she asks but when you got the item you wil get a paintbrush of something like that but you haveto be luky for to get a rainbow fauntin quest! That’s al I know

when you get a quest from the fountain faerie its very hard you cant use the shop wizard or anything ok anyways you have to find the item then she lets you use the fountain but ONLY ONE TIME and then you pick and she paints it !!!
The fountain only works when you get a fountain faerie quest. It is very rare and the quest usually costs about 150,000 - 250,000nps. Some people got the quest and they only had to spend 1,000 nps on it. I think that it is worth it mainly because your pet gets painted any color you want it to be painted.
it will ONLY work if you do a quest for her.she may ask for extremly unbuyable rare items.
when you complete the quest she will say go to my fountain,and i will have a suprize for you.
go to the fontain,select a pet,pick ANY color you want,and you may get an avie!!!

if u click on the paintbrush it will open up a link like they all do but under the picture where there is a description it will have rainbow fountain highlighted, click on it and it will take u to where u can paint yer pet with on of the brushes u have….

the only way to get in the pool is if you get a quest from the fountain faerie, when you compete her quest she’ll wink at you and when you come back to the rainbow fountain you can paint you pet for free! my username is waterfaerie920 , if anybody wants to be my neofriend.
what you do is get a quest from the fearie fountain and when you do it you get to paint one pet and color you want and if you dont believe me neomail my friend groovybananas1212 and thats how she painted her pets
You have to do a quest for her… and yeah, they are very RARE and I am pretty sure rare quests equal expensive items. But once you come back you get to paint your pet any color…
That’s the only time her magic isn’t “used up”

The fountain faerie will ranumly give neopet players a quest.but they are very hard.in return of the favor she give you a paint brush of your choice.
I’ve heard that the only way to get into the ranibow fuontain is that you have to do her quest then she’ll let you in and then you get to paint your neopet for FREE! But, after doing her quest you would have lost about 20k.

A long time ago, you could use the fountan when ever you wanted. Now the neopets team says you need to get her quest (Secont rarest!) If you compleat it, you can paint your pet anything you want as long as your pet can be painted that color.

i think this might work, first you must get a fairy paint brush then got to the rainbow fountain and it might work i went there once when i first started to play it lets you paint your neopets.

I’m not that good with faerie’s…If they are the same well i got a quest from the water faerie and i refused …It doesn’t matter because the 2 of my neopets are painted(a Xweetok:baby and a Pteri:Christmas),and so are my petpets !(a Angelpuss:plushie and a Abdominable Snowball:plushie)

There is a very small chance that the faerie will give you a quest..but you never know..
every one knows that you have to complete a fountain faerie quest and its blumin’ hard to get one. if anyone finds a way to get one that actually works please neomail me (username: lacey4midi pet: zucedabruce) and i will reward you greatly!!

i know how it works! You have to wait and get a water faerie quest. Then After you finish it the rainbow pool waterfall will be colored actual rainbowed and you can choose any color you want to paint your neopet.:)
Ok, u have 2 options to get it 2 work. #1: You have to get a quest from the Rainbow faerie and complete it, then go to the rainbow fountain.
#2: You have to bye a Bottled Rainbow Faerie, of course this is really rare and will cost u alotta money, then when u free it u can go 2 the rainbow fountain and u can paint your neopet any color. KK? Bye

To use the fountain, you need to recieve a quest form the rainbow fountain fairie. the only promblem is that the quests are REALLY REALLY EXTREMELY RARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and that anything she wants is unbuyable. thankfully she is patient to recieve her gift, but your going to have to stay up later than usual playing games to get what she wants, and with all the people that join a dya, its not likely to recieve her quest, but your lucky if you do!
to get the rainbow fountain working for you is to go on a quest for the fountain fairy. although i havent gone on one yet!

i got a quest randomly from fyora (and im guessing it’ll work for any other faerie too) by buying,out of impulse one day, bottled faeries and using them on my pet and then all of a sudden fyora asked for an item. hey it only cost like 3,000 that’s not too bad for a level and strength power up

You need to find the water fearie’s quest. you find it RANDOMLY!

look… im am 99.9999% sure that this is correct.
u must do the Fountain Faeire’s Quest, which is given randomly, around 100 times a day. when u finish the quest, u can go there oce with one pet and pet that pet anything it can get painted, and then u cannot paint anything else.
there is also the space faeire quest, which, after completed, gives ur pet 4 levels up.

It’s closed. You can occasionally get in by quests. And you have to spend a fortune in the first place on said quest..

The farie fountain, as some of you said, only works if you do a quest for the fountain farie!!! You want to know how I know this? Well, I have personally spoken to the owner and creator of the Website!!!

I know why. She only makes the fountain work when you complete one of her quests. And just like the other faeries, hers are random but very very rare, meaning the stuff she asks for is also going to be very very rare and/or expensive (but occasionally, someone might get an easy one =] ) Then, when you complete it, pick an unpainted pet and visit her. She will paint your pet and you get to pick the color too
so its like an expensive rainbow pool that comes with its own paint brushes? lol
u can not do her quest now there at random events but i never get them lol and iam on it every day i get one 1 per week or none

You have to do a quest for her first
If you do a quest for the fountain fairy who normally asks for items with the rarity between 95-100 and if complete her task you will be granted to use the rainbow fountain on one pet only once and if want to paint another pet you must complete another one of her tasks.
